Note: The D3100 is my first DSLR. You will notice, my older photos were taken with cheap (<$100) point & shoot cameras. Before I took the plunge for Adobe CC I did my editing with Photoshop Elements and before that I used Google’s free software, Picassa. Why am I mentioning this? I am very passionate about the fact that the gear does not make the photographer. Yes, expensive gear and professional editing software makes it easier to get quality images, but it is definitely not a requirement.
